CapitaLand to Invest Rs 450 Crore for Fourth It Park in City

Hyderabad: CapitaLand Group, a leading global real estate investment and development company based in Singapore, will invest Rs 450 crore to develop a one million square feet IT park in Hyderabad. The company’s announcement came on the third day of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s visit to the city-state.
CapitaLand Group already operates three prominent business parks in Hyderabad, including International Tech Park Hyderabad (ITPH), aVance Hyderabad, and CyberPearl.
Revanth Reddy described the decision as “a milestone in reinforcing Hyderabad’s position as a leading business and technology hub”. He said that Hyderabad was the best place in the world for business expansion. He said that the Congress government would provide all types of facilities.
The announcement followed a high-level meeting that Revanth Reddy, IT minister D. Sridhar Babu and senior officials, had with senior CapitaLand executives, including Gauri Shankar Nagabhushanam, CEO and ED, CapitaLand India Trust Management, and Manohar Khiatani, senior executive director, CapitaLand Investment.
They signed a MoU for the upcoming project, which is part of CapitaLand’s broader development pipeline in Hyderabad. This new project will cater to the increasing demand from Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and blue-chip companies seeking premium facilities.
Nagabhushanam said that Hyderabad had consistently demonstrated strong potential for business growth, supported by the state government’s progressive policies and the leadership of Revanth Reddy.
"We are excited to expand our footprint in Hyderabad, leveraging its vibrant ecosystem to deliver sustainable and world-class infrastructure," he said.
CapitaLand’s 25 MW IT load data centre is also on track in Hyderabad. Slated to become operational by mid-2025, this will boost Hyderabad’s emergence as a critical node for digital infrastructure in India. The second phase of redevelopment at ITPH is set to commence this year, with the completion anticipated by 2028.
On the last of his visit, the Chief Minister also took a boat ride on the Singapore river and observed first hand the best practices adopted by the city-state, which the government aims to emulate on rejuvenating the river Musi in Hyderabad.
The Chief Minister noted Singapore’s historical efforts on river rejuvenation, breakthroughs in water management, success in restoration and preservation of heritage buildings, while developing iconic buildings, offices, residences, and urban infrastructure.
