Hyderabad: Hyderabad shooter Esha Singh, who set a world record at the ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol Munich 2026, was felicitated by Secunderabad Cantonment MLA Sriganesh Narayanan on Thursday. Esha recorded 43 hits in the women’s 25m pistol final, setting a new world record at the Munich event.
Congratulating her, Narayanan said she had emerged as one of India’s leading pistol shooters and had represented the country with distinction at international competitions. He said her performance in Munich marked a significant milestone and a proud moment for Indian shooting.
Referring to her as a resident of the Secunderabad Cantonment constituency, he said her achievement had brought recognition to Hyderabad, Telangana and the country.
He said her success would inspire young sportspersons, particularly aspiring shooters, to aim for excellence and compete at the highest level.
