Burglars Steal Gold, Valuables worth Rs.36 Lakh from 2 Houses in Khammam
The Wyra police reached the spot with clues team and dog squad to collect scientific evidence
Hyderabad: Burglars struck at two houses in Tatipudi village in Wyra mandal in Khammam district on Sunday night and decamped with gold and other valuables, all worth over Rs.36 lakh.
The incidents occurred when the family members were away from the house. The burglars broke the locks of the house of Patani Sunitha of Tatipudi village and stole about 15 tolas of gold and two kg of silver items, all worth Rs. 32 lakh.
Similarly, the thieves committed theft in the house of a farmer Dosapati Rajeshwara Rao and stole two tolas of gold, Rs.30,000 in cash and silver items, all worth Rs.4 lakh. The Wyra police reached the spot with clues team and dog squad to collect scientific evidence. They said that a case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
