Hyderabad: One kg gold ornaments stored in an agency to embed diamonds to them were stolen by unidentified persons by breaking open the washroom window grills in Banjara Hills here.
As many as 1028.59 grams containing seven necklaces and seven ear studs were stored in the locker. But unidentified persons broke open the washroom windows and stole the gold. Based on a complaint lodged by a Surat-based businessman Preethesh Ramani, the police booked a case and took up investigation.
The police suspect the role of persons who know the topography of the building in which the agency was located. The police are also examining the footage collected from the surveillance cameras to zero in on the intruders.
