BRS MLC Slams Kavitha for Anti-Party Remarks
Ravinder Rao said that the former CM will handle all issues including the issues raised in the letter by Kavitha.
Warangal: BRS MLC Thakkellapally Ravinder Rao strongly condemned remarks by party leader Kalvakuntla Kavitha during a media interaction, calling her statements inexcusable and damaging to the party's image. He was speaking at a public programme held in Mahbubabad district on Thursday.
Ravinder Rao feared that Kavitha’s comments will harm the BRS. Before speaking to the media, she should have waited for the response of the BRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao regarding her letter to him. Why is she in a hurry and angry? As a key leader of the party, is it not her responsibility to have a little patience until she gets the answer from Chandrashekar Rao, he wondered.
“Chandrashekar Rao is not a god for Kavitha alone, but to millions of Telangana people. Since he got notices over the Kaleshwaram project, he was busy thinking about it. Apart from that, both the ruling BJP at the Centre and Congress in the state are harassing him. Can’t she grasp what is going on,” he asked.
Instead of standing by the side of her father during hard times, why is Kavitha in a hurry and what is the urgency for her agitation? Where will Chandrashekar Rao go with the content she wrote in the letter, he asked.
