Hyderabad: Huzurabad BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy was arrested on Saturday by Subedari police in connection with an alleged case involving threats to a quarry owner. He was taken into custody at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and subsequently shifted to Warangal.
A case has been registered against him under Sections 308(2), 308(4), and 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). These sections pertain to extortion and the use of criminal force.
