BRS Hits Back at CM Revanth Reddy
KTR, Harish Rao say CM resorts to abuse to deflect from governance and water disputes

HYDERABAD: Senior BRS leader T. Harish Rao on Thursday slammed Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, who holds the education portfolio, for allegedly neglecting students in residential schools. The BRS leader also hit back at the Chief Minister for the latter’s attack on Wednesday on BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao and working president K.T. Rama Rao.
Speaking with reporters in Siddipet after visiting the Urban Residential School in Siddipet and interacting with students, and having lunch with them, Harish Rao said that Revanth Reddy kept making tall promises to students. “He has not even released funds for the students here, who are orphans, to get a haircut, or their cosmetic charges for the last four months. The same has been the case with the government not clearing the mess bill for the school,” he said.
“The CM has failed as an education minister. What is happening in this school is his responsibility. But instead of focusing on his duties, all he does is to heap abuse on others,” Harish Rao said.
“If Revanth Reddy believes that only he can use foul language, then he is mistaken. The children here do not have blankets, there is no hot water to bathe in this cold weather. It will not be wrong to tie him up to a tree, and beat him up for letting down the orphan children. Making tall claims that he will return to power but the time will come when he will be taught a lesson,” Harish Rao said.
