BRS Faults Govt For Misleading Kaleshwaram Narrative

Speaking at a media briefing in Hanamkonda on Wednesday, he noted that former Chief Minister and BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao transformed Telangana into “Koti Yekarala Magani” (one crore acres of fertile land) through flagship initiatives such as Kaleshwaram and Mission Kakatiya.

WARANGAL: Former Chief Whip and BRS district president Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar alleged that the Congress government is spreading false propaganda about the Kaleshwaram project to undermine Telangana farmers.

Vinay Bhaskar accused the Congress of falsely claiming the entire Kaleshwaram project has collapsed, when in fact only three pillars of one barrage were damaged. He also criticized the state government for releasing just 55 pages of the Justice P.C. Ghose Commission report, while withholding the full 650-page document.

The BRS leader challenged Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to publish the complete report if the government is genuinely committed to transparency. He asserted that the Ghose Commission was formed not to conduct a legitimate review of water resources, but rather to exact political revenge on KCR and BRS leaders. Vinay Bhaskar announced plans for a “Chalo Kaleshwaram” program to educate the public, media, and other organizations about the project’s benefits.
