BRS, Congress Conspiring To Ensure MIM’s Victory In MLC Polls: Kishan Reddy
Kishan Reddy urged people to vote carefully to save the city from MIM

Hyderabad: The BRS and Congress were trying to ensure the victory of MIM in MLC elections with an aim to defeat BJP, alleged Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy here on Friday.
“These three parties are working together as one. The BRS and Congress are conspiring to ensure the victory of Majlis,” he said, while addressing party leaders at a preparatory meeting held ahead of Hyderabad local authorities MLC elections, at Hotel Haritha Plaza in Begumpet.
“If people of Telangana do not think wisely, there is a danger of a situation like Razakars rule again. There are many incidents where Majlis leaders took over the houses of Hindus in the old city and forcibly evacuated the residents,” he said.
The Congress and BRS were not hesitating to sacrifice Telangana and Hyderabad. The BJP is contesting Hyderabad local authorities MLC elections with an intention of awakening the people. “Winning is not important for us. The main goal is to save Hyderabad. The BJP is waging a war against the Majlis party's fanaticism and hooliganism,” he explained.
Launching a scathing attack on the previous BRS regime, Kishan Reddy said the previous State government painted colors to Hi-Tech City and advertised it as development. But in the name of development, work was done wherever there was more real estate business. Only narrow roads were built.
Referring to conditions in the limits of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), he said the situation in GHMC, which is not in a position to purchase street lights, has become worse. Funds for improving civic amenities were not increasing.
Appealing to people to vote consciously to save the city from MIM, he said that real development would be possible only when a double engine government was voted to power in Telangana.
“Congress leaders were talking about foreign investments. Where have the investments gone? After the NDA government came to power, progress is being seen in economic reforms, tax reforms, curbing terrorism, communalism, and an effective foreign policy,” Kishan Reddy said.
In the past, farmers had to sleep near electrical motors for electricity in their agricultural lands. But under NDA’s rule, the situation has changed and there were no power cuts. “Hyderabad is not just a High Tech City. There is a need to improve amenities in Amberpet, Sanathnagar, Malkajgiri, Dilsukhnagar, Gowlipura, Charminar, Nampally, Somajiguda, Khairatabad, and Kukatpally,” he said.
The BRS, Congress and MIM were jointly making moves to sink Telangana, Kishan Reddy alleged, asking every worker to work together to make BJP candidate N Gautam Rao win in MLC elections.
