BRS Congratulates Steadfast Students

Senior party leader T. Harish Rao said Pradhan’s resignation was a “major victory for the country’s youth. The vibe shift is real. Congratulations.”

HYDERABAD: The BRS on Saturday hailed resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan as a moral victory of students with party leaders, led by working president K.T. Rama Rao, taking to X and congratulating the students on their steadfast protests that had yielded results.

Rama Rao, in a post on X, tagging ‘Gen Z’, said “power of people is always greater than the people in power.” It may be recalled that Rama Rao had on Friday joined a protest by the BRS student wing as part of the BRS’ demand for Pradhan’s resignation.

Former professor and BRS MLC Dr Sravan Dasoju said “in a democracy, however intoxicating the arrogance of dominance may be, it must eventually crumble before collective student consciousness. This is a victory of youth power and questioning voices.”

Joining them was former minister and BRS deputy floor leader Talasani Srinivas Yadav, speaking with reporters said his party congratulates the students. “The country is proud of them. Today’s development, he said, should come as a cautionary tale for the Central, and all state governments as the younger generation was closely political developments.
