BRS Candidate Maganti Sunitha’s Family Has Rs 22-Crore Worth Assets

Hyderabad: BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha for the Jubilee Hills bypolls faces a case relating to her alleged violation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) by the Jubilee Hills police registered on October 10, 2025. She studied up to Class 10 at ZP High School in Penamaluru, Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh.

According to a declaration made by her, the Maganti family possesses properties worth Rs 22 crore, including gold, immovable assets, and investments in several companies. The BRS candidate also declared liabilities amounting to `9 crore.

According to her affidavit, Sunitha has Rs 38,800 in cash, while her children — Akshara Naga, Vatsalyanath, and Dishira — hold Rs 35,500, Rs 8,100, and Rs 16,400 respectively. She has purchased 30,000 shares in AION Tech Solutions by investing Rs 15 lakh and has also made investments in Vidiksha Infra LLP. The family owns a Toyota Fortuner and four other cars.

Sunitha and her dependents possess gold ornaments valued at `6 crore, which she stated were received after the demise of her husband, Maganti Gopinath. She also owns an 800-square-yard plot in Banjara Hills under the name of Vidiksha Infra, along with plots in Gopanpally and Jubilee Hills.
