Books Worth ₹2.3 Lakh Donated To Tribal College In Adilabad

ADILABAD: The Sultan Chand Draupadi Devi Education Foundation, Delhi, has donated books worth ₹2.3 lakh to the Government Degree College for Tribals, Adilabad, benefiting students.
The contribution was made under the Foundation’s Book Bank Scheme to support the educational advancement of tribal students. The books, covering subjects such as commerce, mathematics, chemistry, physics, business management, statistics, economics, environmental science, and English and Hindi, were provided free of cost to the college library.
Principal M. Shivakrishna said the modern textbooks, aligned with the New Education Policy, would greatly benefit students and help enhance their academic progress.
Faculty members Lakshmi Prasanna, Sirisha, Rajesh, Surender, Laxman, Librarian Praveen, and students expressed gratitude to the Foundation.
