Bodhan Municipal Chief Suspended For Alleged Misconduct

NIZAMABAD: Bodhan municipal commissioner Jadav Krishna was suspended on Wednesday amid allegations of irregularities in property number assessments. Previously a revenue officer in the Adilabad Municipality, he came under scrutiny following complaints of misconduct. An inquiry found that Krishna illegally manipulated property tax assessments and improperly allocated door numbers on municipal land in Bhuktapur, Adilabad. Investigators discovered that he assigned a door number to Survey No. 170 despite no construction on the site and granted a door number to an unauthorised structure exceeding 50 feet in width within municipal limits. Based on these findings, officials suspended him from his duties.
