Nalgonda: A hydraulic foam manufacturing tank at Balaji Light Weight Bricks, located near Bibigudem of Chivemla mandal in Suryapet district, blew up on Tuesday evening. No one was injured in the incident though pieces of the equipment were recovered from a long distance away from the site.
The incident took place at 6.45 pm on Tuesday and no workers were present in the plant at the time, police said. Locals Bibigudem and Manya thanda panicked on hearing the sound. Fragments of the tanks were fell up to one kilometre from the factory, it was stated. The compound wall the factory and some trees on the premises collapsed under the impact of the blast.
