BJP Rules Out Tie-Ups, Targets Cong, BRS
He alleged these parties had worked together in Kamareddy and Karimnagar specifically to defeat BJP candidates.

Hyderabad:BJP president N. Ramchander Rao has ruled out any political alliances in the forthcoming elections, making it clear that the party will contest all polls independently. He clarified that the “local‑level adjustments” observed during the local body elections do not represent the BJP’s official policy.
Asserting that the BJP has emerged as the true alternative in the state, Ramchander Rao, while speaking to newsmen, accused the Congress, BRS and AIMIM of forming a “secret unholy alliance” to curb the BJP’s momentum. He alleged these parties had worked together in Kamareddy and Karimnagar specifically to defeat BJP candidates.
Rao said the victory in Khanapur municipality may appear localised but carries a powerful political message for the entire state. He asserted that the residents of Khanapur have signalled a broader desire for change across Telangana. “The people of the state have experienced the governance of both BRS and Congress and have become victims of injustice. The only path to genuine development is the BJP, which accelerates under the double‑engine government,” he said, claiming that people in the state are determined to give the party an opportunity.
Rao launched a scathing attack on the state Congress government, accusing it of being mired in deep corruption, and the BRS of being paralysed by internal factionalism. He said voters have become disillusioned with both the Congress government and the previous BRS administration.
The BJP state president, along with other senior leaders, attended the swearing‑in ceremony of Ankam Mounika as the Municipal chairperson of Khanapur. He assured that the party would explore all possible options to secure funds from the Centre for the town’s development as soon as the requisite proposals are received.
On the eve of the special session of Parliament to discuss the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, Ramchander Rao also held an interaction with women in Khanapur. He said the initiative marks a historic step towards ensuring greater participation of women in the democratic process. He noted that by providing enhanced representation for women in legislative bodies, the Act empowers nearly half of the nation’s population, whose voices have long remained underrepresented in policymaking. He further emphasised that the legislation is not merely a reform, but a transformative milestone that will strengthen institutions, promote inclusive governance, and accelerate India’s journey towards becoming a progressive and developed nation.
