BJP Protests Delay in Kazipet Flyover Project Works
Former MLA Martineni Dharma Rao alleged that the prolonged delay in completing the flyover had caused inconvenience to the public and urged the government to expedite the project.

Warangal: The BJP staged a protest at the Kazipet Fatimanagar flyover on Tuesday, demanding the early completion of the long-pending project.
The protest was led by Hanamkonda BJP district president Kolanu Santosh Reddy and attended by the party’s state leader and former Warangal West Assembly candidate Rao Padma Reddy and former MLA Martineni Dharma Rao.
Rao Padma Reddy alleged that the flyover project was progressing at snail’s pace for the past five years, causing persistent traffic congestion. She claimed that the assurance to complete the project before the Medaram Sammakka-Saralamma Jatara had not been fulfilled.
She also alleged that although the project was launched by the BRS government, construction made little progress under the present Congress government.
Referring to reports that pending Railway approvals had delayed the project, she claimed that non-payment of contractors' bills had also contributed to the slowdown. She said the BJP would facilitate the required Railway clearances through Union Ministers G Kishan Reddy and Ashwini Vaishnaw if the works were resumed.
Former MLA Martineni Dharma Rao alleged that the prolonged delay in completing the flyover had caused inconvenience to the public and urged the government to expedite the project.
The BJP leaders warned that they would intensify their agitation if the works were not expedited.
The protest led to disruption of traffic on the Warangal–Hyderabad NH for about 30 minutes before police dispersed the protesters and restored normal traffic.
