BJP Must Emerge Unbeatable Force in GHMC Polls, Says Etala Rajender
Winning the polls must be the top goal for every leader

HYDERABAD: BJP Malkajgiri MP Etala Rajendar called on party leaders to make it an unbeatable force in the upcoming GHMC elections. “Winning the polls must be the top goal for every leader,” he said at a
preparatory meeting with leaders from municipalities in Malkajgiri Parliament constituency.
He said party workers should pick ideal candidates, considering caste equations and local politics. Rajendar said the BJP aimed to deliver good governance that wins public support. "Our areas face many problems. We can solve them only after we come to power," he said.
Without power, winners end up begging at others' doors, he warned. "Only power stops wrongdoers. I won as MP because of your support," Rajendar said.
Rajendar recalled his 25-year long political career, listing out his nine times victory as MLA from Huzurabad. Claiming that he led 40 elections as in-charge, Rajendar said that not one MPTC, ZPTC, municipal chairman, water board chairman, or single window chairman lost under him.
Politics has no permanent friends or foes, Rajendar said. "Make opponents sweat. Bring strong leaders into the party. Honour new joiners. Avoid groupism," he advised. “Groups create discord,” he said. "Our strength is limited. Do we need groups?”
Rajendar rejected claims that he is "non-local," by claiming that he has been working in Malkajgiri since 1992. “The Modi wave helped me win by 4 lakh votes. Modi as PM brings prosperity. People are owners. We are servants," he said.
District president Buddi Srinivas, former president Vikram Reddy, and seniors like Sudarshan Reddy, Nanda Reddy, Chandraraddi, Shobamma, Ramoji, Suresh, Mohan Reddy, Sudhakar, Lakshmamma, Shilaja, Venkat Reddy, Srinivas Pavani attended.
The BJP MP pointed to national achievements like scrapping Article 370 and building the Ram Temple. These became possible under the BJP government at the Centre. "Many sacrificed their lives and endured jail for these dreams. They turned real because we hold power," he added.
