BJP Demands Whitepaper on Vemulawada Temple Development
Ramakrishna said authorities had initially stated that only the kotilingalu would be removed as part of the development works.

Karimnagar:BJP Vemulawada town president Pratapa Ramakrishna has demanded that the government issue a whitepaper on the ongoing development works at the Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple in Vemulawada.
Speaking to reporters in Vemulawada on Monday, he said ruling party leaders and officials were claiming that 50 per cent of the works had been completed, but alleged that the ground reality was different.
Ramakrishna said authorities had initially stated that only the kotilingalu would be removed as part of the development works. He said it had now been decided to increase the height of the sanctum as it was not visible because of slabs laid around it.
He said the BJP was not opposed to development of the temple but would not remain silent if the sanctum was touched. He also alleged irregularities in the temple development works.
