BJP Accuses Congress, BRS of Fake Rivalry
Speaking at the state party office, Prabhakar alleged a covert “cohabiting relation” between the two parties, claiming they protect each other while appearing to fight publicly.

Hyderabad:BJP leader and former MLA N.V.S.S. Prabhakar on Tuesday accused the Congress and BRS of staging a “fake” rivalry and misleading Telangana voters, describing the Congress as a “Bail Party” because senior leaders are on bail.
Speaking at the state party office, Prabhakar alleged a covert “cohabiting relation” between the two parties, claiming they protect each other while appearing to fight publicly.
He targeted the K. Chandrashekhar Rao family, accusing them of profiting during the BRS’s decade in power and evading probes through legal manoeuvres. He cited controversies including the Kaleshwaram irregularities flagged by the CAG, the EAMCET paper leak, power purchase agreements, the Formula‑E race, Jonnavada and Miyapur land regularisations, and the liquor scam involving BRS leader Kavitha. He said several family members have faced notices or court scrutiny.
Prabhakar also questioned sharp rises in K.T. Rama Rao’s declared assets since 2009 and blamed the family for leaving Telangana debt‑ridden. Warning that the BJP would expose alleged illegalities, he said the party would not remain silent and predicted that those responsible “will be counting prison bars very soon.”
