'Bill One' Service Launched in Telangana for Unified Municipal Payments
The system is expected to reduce the burden on the municipality to generate multiple demand notices for various services.

Hyderabad:'Bill One', a service for unified municipal payments, was launched on Friday by T.K. Sreedevi, municipal administration and urban development secretary, enabling citizens to pay multiple municipal charges through a single platform. The service supports payment of property tax, water charges, and trade licence fees together in one transaction, eliminating the need for separate payments.
A key feature of the service is that it generates a consolidated demand ‘no objection certificate (NOC)’ for all municipal services assigned to the Property Tax Identification Number (PTIN) , water bill and trade licence.
The system is expected to reduce the burden on the municipality to generate multiple demand notices for various services. The need for multiple visits to collect different taxes and fees will be reduced with this initiative . It allows the taxpayers to pay in part and also in instalments based on their convenience, thereby providing greater financial flexibility.
