BIE Issues Admission Schedule For Inter First Year Streams
The board asked principals to make provisional admissions on the basis of Class 10 internet marks memos. Provisional admissions will be confirmed after the production of original SSC pass certificate and TC issued by the school authorities.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education on Monday announced the first phase admission schedule for intermediate first year streams for the academic year 2026-27. The process will commence with the issuance of application forms from May 8, with the last date of receipt of application in colleges being May 31. Classes will begin from June 1 and the first phase admission will conclude on June 30.
The board asked principals to make provisional admissions on the basis of Class 10 internet marks memos. Provisional admissions will be confirmed after the production of original SSC pass certificate and TC issued by the school authorities.
Colleges were instructed to follow the reservation in admission as per rules and to admit students on the basis of the grade point average and subject wise grade point obtained in the qualifying examination. They were asked not to conduct any test for admission. Stringent action would be taken against colleges making admissions on any other basis, the board warned.
Colleges were asked to display details of the number of sections sanctioned by the board for the academic year, seats filled and vacant seats in each section at the entrance of the building on a daily basis. All unaided private junior colleges were instructed not to issue advertisements. TGBIE secretary, Abhilasha Abhinav asked parents and students to take admissions in only affiliated colleges as the list is provided in the official website of TGBIE.
