Bhu Bharati to Resolve Long-pending Land Disputes: Bodhan MLA Sudarshan
Sudarshan Reddy said the Bhu Bharati Act would bring transparency to land records
Nizamabad: Former minister and Bodhan MLA P. Sudarshan Reddy said that long-pending land disputes would be resolved soon through the Bhu Bharati (ROR-2025) Act. He said the state government had included new provisions in the Act to ensure full ownership rights for farmers over their lands. He also stated that the regularisation of Sada Bainamas would be completed under the new system.
Addressing an awareness meeting on Bhu Bharati in Bodhan on Tuesday, Sudarshan Reddy said the Act would bring transparency to land records. He credited Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for initiating reforms aimed at benefiting the farming community. He also assured that all eligible families across the state would be covered under the Indiramma housing scheme, with each Assembly constituency receiving 3,500 houses.
On the occasion, the MLA handed over Kalyana Laxmi and Shaadi Mubarak cheques to beneficiaries. District collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu, Bodhan sub-collector Vikas Mahato, additional collector S. Kiran Kumar, assistant commissioner of police Srinivas and other officials were present.
