Bhatti Vikramarka: KCR Afraid To Face Assembly, Making Allegations In Press Meets Instead

Bhatti Vikramarka asserted the government's commitment to public welfare

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, speaking after laying the foundation stone for a new power substation at Pinapaka village in Tallada mandal of Khammam district, strongly countered the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). He accused BRS leaders of "spewing venom" against the Congress government while emphasising that his administration is fully accountable for every rupee spent.

Bhatti Vikramarka asserted the government's commitment to public welfare, stating that "every paisa is being used for public welfare, and not a single rupee is being misused." He highlighted the substantial annual cost—about ₹12,500 crore—that the government bears to provide free power for agriculture.

The Deputy Chief Minister also declared that the Congress government would not "stoop" to the level of BRS leaders' abusive language, predicting that the people themselves would "teach such leaders a lesson."

Targeting former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), Bhatti Vikramarka alleged that KCR, who had "not attended the Assembly for two years," was now making allegations through press conferences because he was "afraid" to face the legislative House.
