Bharat Future City to Get 41.5-km Radial Road Link
41.5 km expressway planned with 6–8 lanes, metro median, green design

Hyderabad: The Bharat Future City will be connected by the proposed greenfield Radial Road No. 1 to the regional transport grid. The 41.5 km corridor will connect the Outer Ring Road (ORR) at Raviryal Interchange to the Regional Ring Road (RRR) at Amangal, cutting through the planned industrial corridors being developed by the Future City Development Authority (FCDA). Designed as a 100-metre-wide partially access-controlled expressway, the corridor will feature a six-lane main carriageway, expandable to 8 lanes and a 20-metre central median reserved for Metro Rail Phase II-B.
Officials highlighted that this project will unlock new economic growth by connecting IT parks, logistics hubs and residential areas while easing congestion on SH-19 and NH-765. It will also promote balanced regional development in southern Telangana and support new urbanisation around Bharat Future City.
The radial road has been designed with environmental sustainability in mind, avoiding dense settlements and integrating green infrastructure along its path.
"With its comprehensive vision, Bharat Future City is positioned not merely as an industrial and residential hub but as a blueprint for how modern cities in India can grow, balancing urbanisation with ecology, infrastructure with sustainability and connectivity with liveability," an official source said. They say the master plan reflects the state government’s ambition to transform Hyderabad’s peripheries into global-class urban spaces, setting benchmarks in smart, green and inclusive development.
- Phase I of Radial Road 1 will run from ORR at Raviryal to Meerkhanpet for 19.2 km
- Phase II will extend from Meerkhanpet to RRR at Amangal for 22.3 km.
- Together, they form a critical link that will integrate the Future City into Hyderabad’s ecosystem.
