Bhageerath Remanded to 14 Days Judicial Custody
A Special Operations Team (SOT) apprehended Bhageerath near Tech Park at Manchirevula under Narsingi police station at 8.15 pm
Hyderabad: A local court in Cyberabad remanded Bandi Sai Bhageerath to 14 days judicial remand in connection with a case booked against him under provisions of BNS and POCSO Act. He was sent to Cherlapally central prison.
Based on reliable information that Bhageerath was moving near Telangana State Police Academy, the police conducted a frisking operation when a Special Operations Team (SOT) apprehended him near Tech Park at Manchirevula under Narsingi police station at 8.15 pm.
The police later shifted him to Petbasheerabad police station. Bhageerath was produced before the investigating officer (IO), who examined him in the presence of panch witnesses in the police station.
After Bhageerath admitted to have committed the offence, the police arrested him. After completion of medical examination, the police produced Bhageerath before the magistrate, who remanded him to 14 days judicial custody. A police team later sent him to Cherlapally central prison.
