Bhadradri Kothagudem Collector Ankit has directed officials to speed up the redevelopment of the Sree Seetha Ramachandra Swamy Temple at Bhadrachalam and complete the project before the 2027 Godavari Pushkarams.

Bhadradri Kothagudem district collector Ankit on Tuesday directed officials and the contracting agency to expedite the redevelopment of the Sree Seetha Ramachandra Swamy Temple at Bhadrachalam and complete the works before the Godavari Pushkarams in 2027.
During an inspection of the redevelopment works, the collector reviewed the progress of the project and instructed officials to ensure that the construction of the ‘Uttara Dwaram’ is completed before Mukkoti Ekadasi to facilitate ‘Uttara Dwara Darshan’ for devotees.
He suggested deploying additional manpower and machinery, if required, to accelerate the pace of the works.
Inspecting the dismantling of the Chitrakuta Mandapam, the collector directed officials to ensure that the stone pillars and sculptures were not damaged during the process.
He said the redevelopment project should enhance facilities for devotees while preserving the temple’s spiritual and architectural heritage.
