Begumpet Traffic RSI Honoured For Extending Medical Aid to Doctor at HPS Gate

The incident occurred when the doctor was riding a two-wheeler from Hyderabad Public School (HPS) exit gate towards Rasoolpura.

Hyderabad: Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Traffic-I, G. Shankar Raju, on Saturday felicitated Begumpet traffic police station Reserve Sub-Inspector (RSI) A. Ashok Reddy and his team for ensuring timely medical aid to a woman doctor, who suffered an injury after falling from her motorcycle.

The incident occurred when the doctor was riding a two-wheeler from Hyderabad Public School (HPS) exit gate towards Rasoolpura. At the same time, an unidentified motorcyclist gave a minor hit to her right leg and fled the scene. As a result, she sustained bleeding injuries to her right leg.

On noticing it, Ashok Reddy, who is also incharge of crane-IV of Begumpet traffic police station, came to her rescue and administered first aid using the medical kit available in the crane. Later, the injured doctor was shifted to the hospital for further treatment.

In recognition of the commendable services rendered by Ashok Reddy and his team, Shankar Raju felicitated them with a shawl and recommended for a reward from senior officials for appreciation of the services.
