Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directed DGP C V Anand to immediately begin investigation into Bandi Bageerath's case registered in Pet Basheerabad police station.
He asked the DGP why action has not been initiated till now when the complaint was filed on May 8.
Reportedly, the DGP told the CM that the police cadre was busy in providing bandobust and making arrangements for the PM's visit to Telangana. He also explained the case details to the CM.
The CM directed the DGP to form multiple teams to conduct a thorough inquiry into the case.
