Bandi Vows To Continue ‘Modi Kits’ For All Students

Union minister of state for home affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar announced that he will continue the “Modi Kits” initiative, ensuring that every student enrolled in government schools receives these kits

Karimnagar: Union minister of state for home affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar announced that he will continue the “Modi Kits” initiative, ensuring that every student enrolled in government schools receives these kits. He emphasised that, whether the number of students runs into the thousands or lakhs, each one will benefit.

As part of his birthday celebrations on July 11, Bandi Sanjay distributed bicycles free of cost to Class 10 students from government schools at an event held at Ambedkar Stadium in Karimnagar on Wednesday.
During his address, he pledged that, as long as he remains a Member of Parliament, he will oversee the annual distribution of bicycles to all Class 10 students alongside the “Modi Kits.” He credited district collector Pamela Satpathy with suggesting the bicycle initiative under “Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao,” and noted that it was expanded to include all Class 10 students.
He urged students to focus on their studies, reminding them that their parents make great sacrifices to support their education. He encouraged them to work diligently toward their goals, so they can lead dignified lives. Citing Mahatma Gandhi, Dr B.R. Ambedkar, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who all rose from humble beginnings, he illustrated how perseverance leads to success.
Bandi Sanjay recounted the challenges he overcame to become a Union minister and noted his firsthand awareness of the issues faced by students at the grassroots level. He advised students to service their bicycles after one month and to use them responsibly for their future endeavours, expressing his hope that each would fulfil their parents’ aspirations.
District collector Pamela Satpathy, the event’s chief guest, shared a personal anecdote about her own first bicycle and its importance in her childhood. She argued that cycling to school is preferable to using autos or cars, which contribute to traffic congestion. Cycling, she noted, fosters independence, punctuality, physical fitness, and self-confidence. Finally, she encouraged the students to give their best in preparing for their Class 10 examinations, expressing confidence that their dedication will lead to successful futures and meaningful contributions to society.
