Hyderabad: Union minister of state for home Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Thursday is confident that the BJP candidates will sweep the MLC polls even though the Congress resorted to many poll gimmicks. He thanked his party workers for not caring about the threats by the Congress leaders and said that the Congress candidate contesting for the Graduate MLC constituency will lose the election.
In a statement, Bandi alleged that his party workers had nabbed Congress workers distributing cash to voters from a vehicle in Husnabad. Congress activists clashed with BJP workers and created a tense atmosphere in the town, he added.
