Bandi Sanjay Seeks National Highway Status for Key Telangana Roads

Hyderabad: BJP MP and minister of state in home affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, has requested Union minister of road transport & highways, Nitin Gadkari, to declare two significant Telangana road stretches as National Highways.
In a social media post, Kumar detailed his appeal, specifying the following routes:
Karimnagar–Siricilla–Kamareddy–Yellareddy–Pitlam (165 km)
Siricilla–Vemulawada–Korutla (65 km)
Furthermore, Kumar stated that he has also sought the preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the proposed Hyderabad–Raipur greenfield corridor.
According to Kumar, these initiatives are aimed at significantly boosting connectivity within Telangana, attracting investments, and facilitating easier access to prominent pilgrimage sites in the region. He emphasised the potential for enhanced economic activity and improved travel convenience for citizens.
