Bandi Sanjay Flays TG Decision to Challenge VB-G RAM G in SC

He alleged that the state government feared that the Centre would get a good name as the scheme would result in the creation of properties and benefit poor people in rural areas.

KARIMNAGAR: Union minister of state for home Bandi Sanjay Kumar found fault with the state government for its decision to challenge the VB-G RAM G Act in the Supreme Court and termed the decision as ridiculous.

He alleged that the state government feared that the Centre would get a good name as the scheme would result in the creation of properties and benefit poor people in rural areas. To prevent it, the state government has decided to challenge the Act in the apex court, he said.
Sanjay made these comments while interacting with media persons after laying the foundation stones for developmental programmes in Karimnagar town on Friday.
If the implementation of the scheme would be a burden, the state government should take the issue to the notice of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It was not proper to stall the scheme by approaching the court, Sanjay said.
Welcoming the government’s decision to provide breakfast and lunch to students as well as teachers in schools and colleges, he questioned the government’s plans to close 10,000 schools. It was against the spirit of the Constitution, he said.
About the phone-tapping case of the BRS government tenure, Sanjay found fault with the state government for not taking action against the people responsible for the incident. “Match-fixing between the Congress and BRS” was the reason, he alleged. Terming Congress and BRS as corrupt parties, he said that both the parties were running a ‘Bigg Boss’ show and were unable to digest the growth of the BJP in the state.
