Banakacherla: Desapati Mocks Revanth

BRS MLC Desapati Srinivas fumed at Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for compromising on the interests of Telangana people and giving a nod to go ahead to the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh with the Banakacherla project. Initially, the CM said that he would not go to Godavari-Banakacherla meeting but with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu raising his voice on Revanth Reddy, our CM rushed to the meeting and signed the papers for constituting a committee on the project, the MLC alleged.

Chandrababu Naidu has announced his plan to link the Godavari River with the Penna River through the Krishna River and build a massive reservoir at Banakacherla in Nandyal district.
The MLC mocked at Revanth Reddy for criticizing BRS President K. Chandrasekhar Rao for completing several pending projects in Palamur and providing irrigation water to lakhs of acres and bringing back migrants to their native places. According to Revanth Reddy, KCR who fulfilled the interests of Telangana people did injustice to the state but Chandrababu Naidu who is trying to violate the rules and take away the rightful water share from Telangana is doing justice. is doing justice to Telangana, the MLC added.
