Hyderabad:The Telangana government on Friday appointed Prof. V. Balakista Reddy, chairman of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), as in-charge Vice Chancellor of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) until further orders.
The appointment comes at a time when JNTUH has been navigating academic and administrative transitions. Prof. Reddy is expected to focus on advancing the university’s academic standards, research, and enhancing student-centric initiatives.
A statement said Prof. Reddy, a seasoned academic and administrator, brings a wealth of experience from his tenure as the chairman of the TGCHE.
