Avinash Mohanty Takes Charge As TG-SAFE Chief

Hyderabad: Avinash Mohanty, a 2005 batch IPS officer, assumed charge as the commissioner of the Telangana Standards Authority for Food and Essential Drugs (TG-SAFE) on Monday.

The TG-SAFE has been established with the objective of strengthening the regulatory framework relating to food and drugs, ensuring quality, safety and compliance with the prescribed standards in Telangana, a press release issued by TG-SAFE stated.
