The incident took place at Arjun Theatre in Kukatpally on Monday

Hyderabad: A tragic incident occurred at a Hyderabad theatre where a man reportedly died of a heart attack while watching Chiranjeevi’s newly released film Mana Sankara Varaprasad Garu.
The incident took place at Arjun Theatre in Kukatpally on Monday, the opening day of the film’s theatrical release. According to reports, the 58-year-old man suddenly collapsed during the screening, prompting theatre staff to alert the police immediately.
Police rushed to the spot and shifted the moviegoer, but he was declared dead. Preliminary assessment suggests that he suffered a cardiac arrest. Further investigation is underway, and the exact cause of death will be confirmed after a medical examination.
Exhibitor Sadanand Goud, who runs Arjun Theatre, termed the incident extremely unfortunate. “Such an incident has never happened in our theatre before,” he said. Goud revealed that the deceased was an Assistant Sub-Inspector working with the Police Battalion and had come to watch the film alone.
“He suffered a severe heart attack during the show. He was later shifted to the Kukatpally police station, where his family members arrived and registered a complaint,” Goud added.
