ASDD List In Telugu Draws Complaints In Hyderabad
In 15 Assembly constituencies of Hyderabad district, the voter enumeration forms were distributed in English. However, the ASDD list is only available in Telugu. Following this, some residents and a few Booth Level Agents (BLAs) of political parties criticised the Election Authorities.

HYDERABAD: The ‘Absent / Shifted / Dead and Duplicate (ASDD) Electors list’ has been uploaded on https://ceotelangana.nic.in. Hours after the list was uploaded on Thursday, some electors started to complain citing language barriers, as the entire list of electors in the constituencies is in Telugu.
In 15 Assembly constituencies of Hyderabad district, the voter enumeration forms were distributed in English. However, the ASDD list is only available in Telugu. Following this, some residents and a few Booth Level Agents (BLAs) of political parties criticised the Election Authorities.
“In Hyderabad even the forms in slums were distributed in English, so we were prepared accordingly and planned to execute the remaining crucial part of the SIR 2026 task. However, the ASDD list is only in Telugu and this has further increased the challenges,” said a BLA from Old City.
The ASDD list is available on the main web page of https://ceotelangana.nic.in. A person whose name is in the ASDD list should apply afresh by filling Form 6 along with the declaration form. The declaration form also seeks details of the elector in SIR 2002 (if applicable) or details of the relative whose name is given in the previous SIR 2002, in addition to details such as name, address, age, etc.
