Asaduddin Hails Capt Smit Machchhar's Courage After Flydubai Terror Attack
Flydubai Captain Smit Machchhar, was severely injured after being stabbed by his co-pilot during a flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv. He was airlifted to Abu Dhabi for advanced medical care after suffering stab wounds.
Hyderabad: Hyderabad: AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi reacted to the Flydubai incident and praised the bravery and quick thinking of the captain.
“ I praise the bravery and quick thinking of the captain, which saved numerous lives. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope that he is able to return to India soon to meet his family,” Owaisi said.

Despite being gravely injured, Smit Machchhar unlocked the cockpit door while fighting for his life, allowing crew and passengers to intervene, disarm the attacker, and safely land the aircraft at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia, saving all 174 lives on board.
