Arun Icecreams find their way to South East Asia, Maldives, Seychelles, Middle East nations

Hyderabad: Arun Icecreams, the ice cream brand under Hatsun Agro Product, has achieved near 100% capacity utilisation of 1.3 lakh kg per day at its Govindapur facility near Zaheerabad. The made-in Telangana ice creams are also exported to South East Asia, Maldives, Seychelles and a couple of Middle East nations.
Established in 2022, the unit spans 113 acre and is recognised as India's largest ice cream manufacturing unit. The facility is equipped with robotic technology and equipment that enable the production of a diverse range of ice cream products with efficiency, precision and quality.
The company recently invested about Rs 115 crore for capacity expansion. With this, the total investment in the unit has gone up to Rs 515 crore including the Rs 400 crore it invested earlier.
“The production milestone reflects our dedication to leveraging advanced technology and sustainable practices in our operations,” said RG Chandramogan, chairman of Hatsun Agro Product.
The plant has a cone baking machine capable of producing 15,000 cones per hour and a filling capacity of 27,000 units per hour.
The unit offers employment to about 700 people. The Govindapur facility has rainwater harvesting systems, water treatment and recycling processes, and solar-powered energy solutions in place. It is increasing the green cover with a mango garden and vegetation.
