Nalgonda: Irrigation minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Thursday said the Indian Army had given a befitting reply to Pakistan for encouraging cross-border terrorism and violence in Kashmir. Speaking to the media at a private programme in Kodad, he recalled his service as a pilot in the Indian Air Force before entering politics.
Reddy, a former Indian Air Force officer, described Operation Sindoor as India’s decisive stand against terrorism and the whole country backing it. He said the Indian Air Force had successfully struck nine terror camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Pakistan. The courage shown by the Army in the fight against terrorism is a matter of pride for the entire nation, he added.
