AP Man Arrested For Sexual Abuse Of Minor In US

Hyderabad: A man from NTR district in Andhra Pradesh was arrested by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the United States for sexual solicitation of a minor, attempted kidnap, attempted second-degree sexual offense, and fourth-degree sexual contact offences.
Nava Kumar Tupili, who was living in Michigan, was arrested by ICE as a part of a broader operation in arresting illegal residents who were committing sexual solicitation of minors and sexual assault operations on a child.
The department of homeland security (DHS), in a statement, stated that Nava Kumar was an illegal alien and was arrested from Wayland, Michigan. “Nava Kumar Tupili, a criminal illegal alien from India, convicted for accosting children for immoral purposes and using a computer to commit a crime in Wayland, Michigan”, the statement read.
Along with Nava Kumar, 13 other men from different countries were also separately arrested for committing sexual assault on a child and attempted human trafficking.
Nava Kumar completed his engineering degree from JNTU, pursued his Masters’ in Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana in 2024, and was working with United Postal Service (UPS) as a python developer.
