AP Dy. speaker buys CM Naidu’s artwork for ₹1,01,116
Speaking on the occasion, state tourism minister Kandula Durgesh said the art exhibition has been organised at Rajamahendravaram as suggested by the CM and Deputy CM

KAKINADA: Deputy speaker K. Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju said the NDA alliance government headed by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan will restore the old glory of arts and crafts, which had been neglected by the previous government.
Ramakrishnam Raju spoke as chief guest at the Amaravati Chitra Kala Pradarshana organised by the AP State Creativity and Culture Commission chairman Tejaswi Podavati at Rajamahendravaram on Friday. At the programme venue, the deputy speaker bought the painting “Budhini”, drawn by Chandrababu Naidu, for ₹1,01,176.
He called upon other people present to buy the art, drawings and crafts at the exhibition, thereby encouraging the artists.
Speaking on the occasion, state tourism minister Kandula Durgesh said the art exhibition has been organised at Rajamahendravaram as suggested by the CM and Deputy CM.
Among those present included Rajamahendravaram Urban MLA Adireddy Srinivas, Rajanagaram MLA Bathula Bala Ramakrishna, special officer Ajay Jain, district collector P. Prashanthi, district SP D. Narasimha Kishore and director (Culture) D. Mallikarjuna Rao.
