Anil Kumar Says Diligent Cong. Workers to Be Rewarded

Congress to fill 100 district roles based on cadre feedback and grassroots contributions

Adilabad: Rajya Sabha member M. Anil Kumar Yadav, recently appointed in charge of the Adilabad Parliamentary constituency, announced on Friday that committed party workers and leaders will soon be awarded posts as part of a democratic selection process covering nearly 100 district-level positions. These appointments, including District Congress Committee president, vice-presidents, general secretaries, and committee members, will be based on feedback from the party cadre and each leader’s contributions.

Addressing meetings in Nirmal and Adilabad, Anil Kumar urged party cadres to work diligently to secure victory for Congress candidates in the upcoming local body elections, emphasising that individual success is tied to the party’s success. He also warned that the party will not tolerate “press-building” tactics or lobbying for posts, and that dedicated leaders will receive due recognition.

Highlighting recent changes by the AICC to the DCC selection process, he noted that elected leaders will assume greater responsibilities. He pledged to engage with all mandal-level leaders to gather their feedback on strengthening the party.

Khanapur MLA Vedma Bojju called on leaders and activists to deepen their connections with the public, stressing that only those with genuine grassroots support can emerge as strong leaders, not those who secure posts through lobbying.

Also present at the meetings were MLC Dande Vittal; former MP Soyam Bapu Rao; MLC Puranam Satish; Assembly constituency in-charges Kandi Srinivas Reddy and Ade Gajender; observer Taher Bin Ahmed; in-charge Indrakaran Reddy; TPCC vice-president Atram Suguna; and senior leaders Naresh Jadhav, DCC chairman Addi Bojareddy, former MLA Rathod Bapu Rao, Srikanth Reddy, Shyam Naik, among others.
