Andole emerges as women’s education, health hub

Hyderabad: Andole is emerging as a centre for women’s education and healthcare, said Telangana health minister Damodar Rajanarsimha on Thursday. He laid the foundation stones for a 100-bed hospital, a 50-bed mother and child health (MCH) centre and a nursing college with hostel facilities.
Speaking on this occasion, the minister said, “These facilities will provide better medical services for the people of the Andole constituency. Pregnant women will no longer need to travel to Sangareddy for antenatal check-ups or deliveries, as comprehensive healthcare services for women and children will be available here.”
The new nursing college has 60 BSc Nursing seats, with classes temporarily running in a local degree college until the dedicated building and hostel are completed next academic year. Rajanarsimha said these institutions would not only fulfill students’ aspirations for quality education but also create direct and indirect employment opportunities for the youth of Andole.
During the nursing college’s inauguration, the minister emphasised the role of education in women empowerment. He also expressed gratitude to the public for their birthday wishes, cutting a cake in the presence of students, MP Suresh Shetkar, Andole municipal chairman G. Mallayya and others. Cultural programmes by students were also part of the celebration, and the minister commended their performances.
Rajanarsimha further announced that over ₹600 crore funds have been allocated to develop the constituency over the past year. He assured citizens of continued efforts to bring comprehensive development to Andole.
