Anam Launches Rs 6-Crore Development Works In Marripadu

Nellore: Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy toured Marripadu mandal and inaugurated various projects worth Rs 6 crore on Tuesday.
During his visit, the minister, along with Udayagiri MLA Kakarla Suresh, inaugurated a free eye care medical camp organised by Shankar Netralaya and coordinated by NRI Korapati Priya at the Zilla Parishad High School in Marripadu.
The duo also flagged off Mobile Eye Surgical Unit buses aimed at bringing advanced ophthalmic care to remote areas.
Anam urged the residents of nearby villages to utilise the 10-day eye camp. Later, he laid the foundation stone for water pipeline connections under the Jal Jeevan Mission, a Rs 95-lakh initiative to provide tap water to every household in Marripadu village.
Then, he also inaugurated and laid foundation stones for eight new CC roads in the area.
