Bhongir: Arrangements are complete for Maha Kumbha Samprokshana at Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy Temple in Yadagirigutta, scheduled from February 19 to 23. On Monday, temple cleansing took place from 1 to 3.30 pm.
During the festival, 108 ruthwiks will perform sudarshana and narsaimha homams, with five homa gundams set up on the hill shrine. An abhisekham of the vimana rajagopuram is planned at 11.54 am on February 23, involving 25 kalashams and water sourced from various rivers.
Anticipating a heavy influx of devotees on February 23, temple authorities have arranged to serve prasadams to one lakh people. Temple executive officer A. Bhaskar Rao confirmed that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure a smooth experience for devotees. Additionally, the annual brahmostavams will be conducted from March 1 to 11.
