AIMIM General Secretary Ahmed Pasha Quadri Passes Away
Quadri has been associated with the AIMIM party for several decades and served as MLA from 2004 to 2023.

Hyderabad: AIMIM general secretary and four-time MLA Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri (72) passed away on Tuesday following prolonged illness. He is survived by a son and two daughters.
The veteran leader will be laid to rest on Wednesday at Masjid-e-Hazrat Syed Mohiuddin Pasha, Noorkhan Bazaar, after funeral prayers at Masjid-e-Wazeer Ali, Chandulal Baradari.
Quadri, regarded as a loyal party worker from a young age, began his political career as a corporator in the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad in 1986 from Dabeerpura ward. He went on to be elected MLA from Charminar Assembly Constituency in 2004, 2009 and 2014, and later from Yakutpura in 2018.
He worked closely with three generations of the Owaisi family and played a crucial role in strengthening AIMIM’s organisation. As the party’s long-standing general secretary, Quadri was widely respected for his commitment, discipline and grassroots leadership.
