Agniveer Recruitment Rally From Feb 2 to May 10

HYDERABAD: The Indian Army will conduct a recruitment rally under the Unit Headquarters quota at the Army Ordnance Corps (AOC) Centre in Secunderabad from February 2 to May 10, covering enrolment across multiple Agniveer categories.

The rally will be held at Mukhtair Hall, AOC Centre, and will include recruitment for Agniveer general duty, clerk or store keeper technical (restricted to AOC wards), tradesmen (Class 10 pass) in trades such as chef, artisan miscellaneous works, steward, support staff (ER), dresser and washerman, as well as outstanding sportsmen and technical tradesman (musicians) under the open category.
Candidates applying under the sportsmen category have to report at Mukhtair Hall by 6 am on February 2 for trials, while candidates for the musician category must report by 6 am on February 4 for aptitude tests. The Army has specified that sports candidates must have represented India at the international level or their state at senior or junior national competitions, with medal achievements in individual events or top-eight finishes in team events. Certificates must have been issued within the last two years.
The age limit for all categories is between 17 and a half and 21 years. For Agniveer general duty, candidates must have passed Class 10 with 45 per cent aggregate marks and at least 33 per cent in each subject, with preference given to those holding a valid light motor vehicle driving licence for driver-related roles. For Agniveer clerk or store keeper technical, candidates must have passed Class 12 with 60 per cent aggregate marks and 50 per cent in each subject, including English and Mathematics, Accounts or Bookkeeping. Applicants for Agniveer tradesmen require a Class 10 pass with 33 per cent marks.
