Advocate Murder Case: Police Detain Prime Accused's Henchman in Hyderabad
Sources said police were on the look-out for Mujahid’s driver Mohammed Muneer and henchmen Hassan Ali ‘Chaus’, accused in the murder case and currently listed as absconding.

Hyderabad:Special teams probing the murder of High Court advocate and Waqf activist Khaja Moizuddin on Friday evening detained prime accused Mujahid Alam Khan’s alleged henchman Mohammed Majid from the Anwar-ul-Uloom College. He was being questioned by the police. Moizuddin was mowed down by a car in front of his residence on May 23.
It is reported that the police were keeping a watch on the associates of Mujahid and his father Mahbub Alam Khan who is the second accused in the murder case. Police reportedly collected the call data records of a security guard at the college, Gyanesh, sources disclosed.
Sources said police were on the look-out for Mujahid’s driver Mohammed Muneer and henchmen Hassan Ali ‘Chaus’, accused in the murder case and currently listed as absconding.
Sources said that based on a tip-off that Hassan Ali was taking shelter in Ooty, a special team had reached the hill station town in Tamil Nadu. However, the accused had escaped by them. Sources said police also searched what was believed to be Mujahid Alam Khan’s villa in Bengaluru.
