Adulterated Toddy: 10 Patients Clinically Stable At NIMS

Hyderabad: Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) here on Saturday informed 30 patients were currently admitted as on Saturday following consumption of toddy.
Ten patients were clinically stable and fit for discharge today. On Friday, five patients were discharged and all necessary medical care was being provided. The situation is being closely monitored by the expert multispecialty team, according to NIMS medical superintendent.
At least five died after consuming adulterated toddy from a shop at Kukatpally a few days ago.
